A phone system built around how you work

Business phone systems have changed. Many teams now split time between the office and home, and some run several locations. A phone on every desk is no longer enough. You need calls to reach the right person wherever they are, and you need to add or remove users without a service call. We help you choose between hosted PBX, VoIP and unified communications, so you get a system that fits your team and your budget.

We are not a phone company. We are your advocate. We compare options from more than 400 carriers, recommend the best fit, and support you from planning through install and billing. Carriers pay us, so there is no fee to you.

Key Benefits of Business Phone Systems

Your cell as desk line

Staff can make and take business calls from a smartphone app using the company number. It works well for remote workers, field staff and anyone who moves between offices.

Auto attendants and routing

Callers hear a greeting and pick a department, or calls route by time of day. Forwarding sends calls to the right person, in the office or remote.

Voicemail to email

Voicemails arrive in your inbox as audio files, so messages are not missed. Your team can reply faster, even when they are away from a desk.

Handles busy call times

Take several calls at once, transfer them, and play hold music while callers wait. Caller ID, call blocking and speed dial cover the everyday basics.

One admin dashboard

Add or remove users, change greetings and update routing from one online dashboard. Many systems also connect to your CRM, ERP or ticketing tools.

Unlimited local calling

Many plans include unlimited local calling, so there are no call caps to watch. We read the fine print on each quote so hidden charges do not surprise you.

What to look for in business phone systems

Begin with your people. How many need a line, how many work outside the office, and how many calls come in at your busiest hour? Then think about features. Most teams need an auto attendant, call forwarding and voicemail to email. Some need call recording, CRM links or a central dashboard for several sites. After that, look at the contract. Monthly per user plans let you add and remove lines as you grow. Finally, check the internet at each site, because a hosted system depends on it. We cover all of this in one conversation and bring you quotes that match.

Phone systems for regulated and busy industries

Different businesses need different things from a phone system. Healthcare practices and clinics need options that support HIPAA compliant communication. Law and insurance firms care about secure call logs and client confidentiality. Retail stores and restaurants need several lines and fast routing at busy times. Schools need to keep staff, parents and administrators connected. Banks and finance firms look for call encryption and a disaster recovery plan. We match you with carriers whose systems offer the features your industry needs, and we explain what each option does in plain terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers. If yours is not here, give us a call.

What is the best phone system for a small business?

There is no single best system. It depends on your team size, how many people work remotely and which features you use every day. For many small offices a hosted system is a good fit because it has low upfront cost and is easy to change. We compare several options and explain the tradeoffs.

What is the difference between VoIP and a hosted PBX?

VoIP is the technology that carries calls over the internet. A hosted PBX is a full phone system, with extensions, auto attendants and call routing, that a provider runs for you in the cloud using VoIP. In practice, most modern business phone systems are hosted systems built on VoIP.

Can we keep our existing desk phones?

Sometimes. Many hosted systems work with common desk phone models, but older phones built for an onsite system may not be compatible. We check your current equipment against each provider’s list before you buy anything, so you only replace what you have to.

Do business phone systems work for remote employees?

Yes. Most hosted systems include a smartphone and computer app, so remote staff use the company number and extensions from anywhere with internet. Callers reach them the same way they would reach someone in the office, and staff can transfer calls between each other.

Are we locked into a long contract?

Not always. Many hosted phone systems are sold as a monthly per user subscription, and you can add or remove lines as your team changes. Some carriers offer a lower rate for a longer term. We show you both options and point out any early termination terms before you sign.

How much does a business phone system cost?

It depends on the number of users, the features you need, the equipment and the contract length, so we do not publish prices. What we can say is that 92% of businesses we matched saved 20% or more on their telecom bill. Send us a recent bill and we will show you real quotes.
