Phones and internet your patients can count on
Healthcare telecom is about more than a dial tone. Patients need to reach the front desk. Staff need fast access to electronic health records. Telehealth visits need a connection that does not freeze halfway through. TelcoSolutions reviews your current voice, internet and network setup, compares options from more than 400 carriers, and recommends what fits your practice. Then we manage the install and stay your single point of contact for support and billing.
Our service costs your practice nothing, because carriers pay us. Medical groups are not new to us. One physician client has worked with our founder Erin Conrad on voice and data across all of his locations for more than ten years.

What We Set Up for You
Fast, reliable internet
Fiber and business internet with the bandwidth for EHR systems, imaging files and telehealth, plus a backup connection so the practice keeps working when one line fails.
Voice built for medical offices
Hosted phone systems with call queues, auto attendants and after hours routing, so patient calls reach the right person and fewer end up in voicemail.
Networks across every location
For groups with several offices, we compare SD WAN and private network options that connect every site and keep call quality steady between them.
Cybersecurity for patient data
We match you with providers offering managed firewalls, threat monitoring and encrypted connections, which help protect patient information from ransomware and other attacks.
Support after the install
When a line goes down or a bill looks wrong, you call us. We work the problem with the carrier so your staff can get back to patients.
How we help you meet HIPAA requirements
Business associate agreements
Any vendor that stores or transmits patient information should sign a business associate agreement, or BAA. We prioritize carriers and phone systems that will, and confirm it before you sign.
Encryption and access control
We look for systems that encrypt call recordings and voicemails containing patient details, and that support role based access and multi factor login for staff.
Audit trails
Detailed logs of logins and call activity help you answer questions during an audit. We favor platforms that keep these records and data retention settings you control.
Uptime and redundancy
Patient care cannot wait for a repair truck. We plan for backup internet and failover routing so phones and records stay reachable during an outage.
Signs your practice’s telecom is holding you back
If two or more sound familiar, a free comparison will likely pay off.
HIPAA compliance is shared, not bought off a shelf
No phone system or internet plan makes a practice HIPAA compliant by itself. Compliance depends on your policies, your staff and how the technology is set up. What we can do is match you with carriers and systems that support HIPAA requirements, including vendors willing to sign a business associate agreement. Your compliance officer or attorney should still review the final setup.
What healthcare telecom should include in a modern practice
A modern practice runs on three connected pieces. First, a phone system that handles high call volume, routes patients to the right department and keeps working after hours. Second, internet fast enough for electronic health records, imaging and telehealth, with a backup line for outages. Third, security that protects patient information on the network, in voicemail and in call recordings. Many practices buy these from different vendors over many years and end up with gaps. We look at the whole picture, compare carriers that serve your address, and recommend one plan that covers all three.
Choosing VoIP and internet for telehealth and EHR access
Telehealth and cloud based EHR systems both depend on steady upload speed, not just download. That is why we often recommend fiber for clinics, with a second connection from a different carrier as backup. On the phone side, hosted VoIP can prioritize voice traffic so calls stay clear when the network is busy, and some platforms integrate with EHR and scheduling systems. We check those integrations before recommending a platform, because what one vendor supports another may not. The goal is simple: fewer dropped calls, fewer frozen visits and fewer surprises on the bill.
I’ve worked with Erin Conrad for over 10 years. In this time, he has assisted me with my voice and data across all my locations.
Is VoIP HIPAA compliant?
VoIP can be used in a HIPAA compliant way, but no system is compliant on its own. Look for a provider that signs a business associate agreement, encrypts voicemails and recordings that contain patient details, and controls who can access them. We match practices with carriers and systems that support these requirements. Your own policies and staff training do the rest.
Does TelcoSolutions certify that our setup meets HIPAA?
No. We are a telecom broker, not a compliance auditor. We help you choose carriers and systems that support HIPAA requirements, such as signed BAAs, encryption and access controls, and we pass along the documentation vendors provide. Your compliance officer, IT provider or attorney should confirm that the final setup meets your obligations.
Can our phone system integrate with our EHR?
Often, yes. Some VoIP platforms connect with EHR and practice management software to show patient details on incoming calls or log calls automatically. Support varies a lot between vendors, so we confirm that a platform works with your specific EHR before we recommend it, rather than assuming it will.
What happens to patient calls if our internet goes down?
With the right setup, very little. Hosted phone systems can forward calls to mobile phones or another location automatically, and a backup internet connection from a second carrier keeps records and phones online. We plan this failover into every healthcare recommendation, because a practice that cannot answer the phone cannot book patients.
We have several locations. Can you handle all of them?
Yes. We compare carriers location by location, then connect your sites into one network and one phone system where that makes sense. Dr. Jay R. Prakash of Southern Gastroenterology Specialists has worked with our founder on voice and data across all of his locations for more than ten years.
What does your service cost a medical practice?
Nothing. Carriers pay us when you choose their service, so the review, comparison, install management and ongoing support are free to your practice. 92% of businesses we have matched saved 20% or more on their telecom bill, and we will show you your own numbers before you decide anything.
